Pauline Thurman a beautiful soul left this life in Durant, Oklahoma on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at the age of 70. She was born in Beloit, Kansas to Paul Gasper and Zora (Sellers) Allen on February 26, 1947. Pauline married Greg Thurman in Liberal, Kansas on September 26, 1992.

Pauline was a professional seamstress by trade. She was very active and enjoyed bowling. Pauline enjoyed many things; collecting special dolls, making stuffed animals, creating beautiful quilts, and growing flowers. She had a caring soul and cherished all her dogs and cats.

Mrs. Thurman is survived by her husband, Greg of the home; daughter, Donna Geissler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Rose Gradig and husband Richard of Downs, Kansas; brothers, Kenneth Gasper of Downs, Kansas and Robert Allen and wife Virginia of Tool, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Mrs. Thurman was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Zora Gasper; 1st husband, Chuck Geissler; daughter, Margaret Geissler; and son, Matthew Geissler.

Family hour will be from 1-2:00 PM Thursday January 25th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma before the service. The chapel service will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Blagg officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant. The pallbearers will be Kenny Gasper, Robert Allen, Jr., Tommy Bowen, Hector Trevino, Matthew Williams, and Tony Gradig.
