Lillie Opal Teel, 99, of Carrollton, Texas went home to be with her Lord, December 20, 2018. Visitation was at Dalton & Son Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 6:00- 8:00 pm.

The graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26th at Highland Cemetery, Durant, Oklahoma. Pastor Dewayne Fretwell will be officiating. Pallbearers are Dick Duvall, Don Day, Darren Holloman, Marc Teel, Thom lsbon, and Hudson Mackey.

Lillie was born in Platter, Oklahoma on November 21, 1919. She attended high school at Blue, Oklahoma. Lillie married her high school sweetheart, Hayes Teel on July 17, 1939. They had five children. Lillie lived in Durant, Oklahoma most of her life.

After raising her family, she worked several years at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Lillie loved to cook, sew, garden and read her Bible. She loved her Lord and was ready to meet Him. Lillie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed and loved by many.

Lillie is survived by her children and their spouses; son Gerald Teel and wife Sally, daughter Barbara Doss, daughter Pat Fretwell and husband Dewayne, daughter Marie, daughter Charlotte Reeves and husband Barry. Lillie had five grandchildren, Melissa Doss, Michael and Marc Teel, Thom Isbon, Tamara Holloman, and Rebecca Conway; three great grandchildren; Rachel and Hannah Conway, Hudson Mackey; and one great great grandchild, Piper Teel. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Stilwell and Mary Maud, sisters Valmaree Stilwell, Odie Mae McCarley, Olee Gore, brothers Herman and Arthur Stilwell, her son in law Don Doss, and her husband Hayes Teel.
