June Adams Rose passed away on Friday July 19, 2019 at the age of 92.

She was born on 6/13/1927 to Joel T. Adams and Della Adams at Shawnee, Oklahoma. Her parents came to Oklahoma from Tennessee in 1912.

Growing up her father worked for a large machinery company giving her the opportunity to attend different schools & their cultures in Joinerville, Texas, Grayville, Illinois, Vallys, California, and Bennington, Oklahoma, where she graduated. Later attending college at Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She was a rancher with her husband for 50 years who she married in 1947 and continued until her death.

June belonged to the H.D.C. for many years & worked on the election board several years. Also, she worked as a bookkeeper, retail clerk & designer of windows through the years.

She was of the protestant faith, loved playing the piano, antiques, crafts, history and reading biographies of people. But most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, S.B. Rose 11/28/1996, Father, Joel T. Adams 10/28/1968, Mother, Della Adams 12/23/1988, Brother, James L. Adams 3/12/1934, Sister, Irene Adams 1924. She is survived by 1 son Danny R. Rose of Bokchito, Oklahoma, 2 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday July 23, 2019 at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Greg Thalls officiating.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.
