Cathey Ann Meeks Reynolds

Cathey Ann (Meeks) Reynolds of Woodlands, Texas and beloved mother and grandmother left this earth on May 27, 2022, at the age of 68, in Wasilla, Alaska. She was born July 20, 1953, in the Haynie Hospital in Durant, Ok. to Hubert Ray Meeks and Elizabeth Ann (Burkhalter) Meeks. Cathey married Tommy Joe Reynolds on September 23, 1959, at the Grayson County Court House in Sherman, Texas. Cathey enjoyed genealogy and traveling. Her favorite place to be was with her little men Josiah, Traveler and her children. The love of her family was everything to her.

She had a BS in Accounting and worked in that profession for many years.

Cathey is survived by her children Elizabeth "Libby" (Reynolds) Fournier and husband Andrew, of Sierra Vista, AZ., Thomas Reynolds and wife Maurie of Willis, Tx., grandchildren, Andrew Josiah Fournier, Sierra Vista, AZ., Traveler Jett Reynolds, Willis, Tx, Brianna Disanto and husband Rocco, Steep Falls Maine, Caleb Fournier & Lincoln Fournier, Portland, Maine, Great grandchildren Jaxson Ishihara and Penelope Disanto, Steep Falls Maine, sister Karen Clay and Husband Robert, brothers Charlie Maxey and wife Holley, Calera, Ok., Todd and wife Linda Maxey, Durant, Ok, Denis Meeks and wife Angela, Crandall, Tx, and James Meeks and wife Kim, Mena, AR, step-sisters Bernice LaQueen of Texas and Bunny DiNicola of Germany. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins who were more like siblings and grandchildren.

Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth Ann Maxey, step-father Doyle Maxey, father Hubert R. Meeks, husband Tommy Joe Reynolds, brother Tedwin Maxey and step-sister Linda Hasegawa. Cathey was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Family hour will be from 7-8 PM on Sunday June 5, 2022 at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Chapel, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will be at10:AM Monday, June 6, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, Calera, Oklahoma with Brother Jacob Toews officiating.

Her earthly resting place will be at Highland Cemetery, Durant. with Aaron Clay, James Reynolds, Zachary Maxey, Krister Maxey, Colby Maxey and Phil Perkins serving as her pallbearers.
