Suzanne R. Reirdon 84-years-old passed away Monday, June 30, 2025, in Bridgeport, TX.
Services will be held at 11 am, Sunday July 13, 2025, at Highland Cemetery Chapel in Durant. Burial will follow. The Pallbearers will be Bryant Lamb, Keith Lamb, David Morrison, Patrick Reirdon and Matthew Reirdon.
Mrs. Reirdon was born January 24, 1941, in Durant, OK to JC and Anna Mae (O'Donley) Renshaw. She graduated from Durant High School. After that, she went on to complete a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma, her master's degree from TCU, and her PhD from Texas University. She taught English and Literature at Tarrant County College until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sidney Reeder, and her son J Patrick Reirdon.
Mrs. Reirdon is survived by her daughter, Erin (Reirdon) Morrison and husband Seth of Hillsboro, TX; grandsons - Patrick Reirdon of North Richland Hills, TX; David Morrison of Waco, TX; and Matthew Reirdon of Mansfield, TX. Her daughter-in-law Bethany (Reirdon) Wilson of Mansfield, TX. Her sister, Beth (Renshaw) Lamb and husband Mike of Yukon, OK. Nephews Keith Lamb and wife Tamara of Guthrie, OK and Bryant Lamb and wife Amanda of Bridgeport, TX.
