Mary Elizabeth Raborn, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed from this life at her home on Sunday May 26, 2019 at the age of 85. Family hour will be from 7-8:00 PM on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 AM May 29, 2019 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel. Her final resting place will be the Highland Cemetery in Durant with Jimmie J. Rabon, Mike Rabon, William Uranga, Danny Childress, Travis Johnson and Brian White as her pallbearers.

Mary was born on July 27, 1933 in Durant, Oklahoma to Nicholas Oscar Pierot and Evelyn (Nucomb) Pierot. She married William H. Rabon in Grayson County, Sherman, Texas on May 12, 1948. Mary enjoyed creating beautiful quilts a quiet day of fishing and pioneering for Jehovah as a member of the Kingdom Hall in Madill, Oklahoma. She cherished her family and dedicated her life to caring for them. Mary loved cooking big meals whenever they were together.

Mrs. Raborn is survived by her sons, Mike Raborn of Oklahoma and Nick Raborn and wife Tina of Gordonville, Texas: grandchildren, Michael Allen Raborn, Jr., Evelyn Raborn, Jimmie Raborn, Dana Raborn, Ila White, July Raborn, Eriah Warren Smith, Mary Mahon, William Uranga, Sharla Thompson, and Paul Raborn: and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
