Kenneth “Ken” Ray Pigg was born on February 17, 1955, to Cleo and Margaret Pigg in Durant Oklahoma. A lifelong resident of Durant, he graduated from Durant High School in 1973. He worked as an auto detailer. Kenneth attended the First Baptist Church in Durant. He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, old movies, and listening to rock music, and he especially enjoyed his cats.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; Cleo Pigg and Margaret Rose (Koonce) Pigg. His sister Darla Gail Giles, and Nephews Tommy Mote and Christopher Giles.
Left to cherish his memories are his brother Dale Pigg and wife Laura of Ovilla, Texas. His aunt Zelda Merritt of Durant, his niece Ashley Jackson and husband Darius of Durant, and Nephew Eric Giles of Lawton. Kenneth also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other loving family members.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant for a visitation. Funeral services are set for Friday, May 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Brown’s Durant Funeral Service Chapel, with Dale Pigg to officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Eric Giles, Darius Jackson, Brenden Mote, Ronnie Merritt, Cameron Mote, and Calvin Hartigan. Online condolences can be made at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
