Sue McGee, a resident of Albany, Oklahoma, and beloved family member, passed from this earthly life, in Plano, Texas on Monday August 14, 2017 at the age of 75 years 2 months and 16 days. She was born in Colbert, Oklahoma on May 29, 1942 to Roy Earl and Fay (Reasor) Metcalf. Sue married her sweetheart R.L. "Hopper" McGee in Albany, Oklahoma on December 23, 1960.

Sue lovingly dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She was an active member of the Murray County Antique Tractor Club. Sue liked to work on their ranch and farm, tend to her beautiful flower beds, and harvest the bountiful produce from her big vegetable gardens. She cherished her family, and especially looked forward to caring for her beloved grandchildren.

Mrs. McGee is survived by her husband, R.L. "Hopper" of Albany; son, Terry McGee and wife Rita of Ardmore, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy McGee of Ardmore, Oklahoma; grandson, Justin McGee and wife Shiloh of Ardmore, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Christy Marsh and husband Jarrod of Wilson, Oklahoma; great-grandson, Cody Marsh of Wilson, Oklahoma; sister, Mary England and husband Dan of Durant, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her son, Roy Ernest McGee; parents, Roy Earl and Fay Metcalf; in-laws, O.C. "Oscar" and Laura McGee; and other family members.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Sue’s name to the Murray County Antique Tractor Club College Scholarship Fund, PO Box 1051, Sulphur, Oklahoma, 73086, or the American Heart Association www.heart.org .

Family Hour will be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday August 18th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 19th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Bro. Clark Harp officiating.

Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant. Serving as pallbearers will be Curtis Henderson, Jarrod Marsh, Jim McGee, Johnny Graham, Justin McGee, Stuart England, and Ray Wilson, and the honorary pallbearers are Bennie McGill, Butch Adams, Dan England, Dusty Henderson, Glen Wilson and Jim McGill.
