Wayne Charles Loftis, age, 90 of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away on April 10, 2025. Wayne was born on March 13, 1935, in Utica, Oklahoma to parents, Floyd Daniel "FD" and Letha (Coker) Loftis. A lifelong resident of Bryan County, he graduated from Blue High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He married Mary Kathryn (Cutie) Andis on November 24, 1955, in Durant and they were blessed with 57 years until Mary's passing on January 14, 2013. Wayne was a math teacher then became a computer programmer and analyst when computers first came out until he retired. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and he loved to just hang out with the cows and the dogs.
Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary (Cutie) Loftis and parents FD and Letha Loftis
Wayne is survived by his children Kathy Oden and husband Mike of Bokchito, OK, Eric Loftis and wife LaRhonda of Bokchito, OK, and Shawn Allmon and husband Bobby of Bokchito, OK; grandchildren Kari Nguyen and husband Bao of Durant, OK, Sasha Barfield and husband Jay of Bennington, OK, Amanda Richards and husband John of Durant, OK, Danielle Pruitt and husband Darren of Madill, OK, Brandi Nelson and husband Bradley of Durant, OK, Bailey Cummins and husband Dillon of Calera, Kelsey Allmon and husband Zack of Lakewood, CO, and Tori Allmon of Bokchito, OK; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and one on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 14, 2025, at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Cole Newton will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery with Jay Barfield, Darren Pruitt, Travis Bishop, John Richards, Bradley Nelson, Dillon Cummins, Bao Nguyen, and Brady Baskin serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
