Phillip Earl Haggard, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the age of 68.

He was born on March 6, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Earl A. Haggard and Mildred R. Whittenburg.

He married Dana Bell in Durant, Oklahoma on May 31, 1968.

Phillip was a member of Abundant Life Temple, the Shriners, the Rotary Club and a volunteer for the Hospital Auxiliary.

He was the owner of the Durant Box Factory and could often be found at McDonald's enjoying a cup of coffee with his friends.

Mr. Haggard is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dana Haggard; son, Jack Haggard of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Leslye Shin and husband Song of Phoenix, Arizona and Jana Neu and husband Marty of Denton, Texas; Grandchildren, Haley Neu, Carson Neu and Keller Neu of Denton, Texas and Annalye and Liam Shin of Phoenix Arizona and many cousins, other family and friends.

Mr. Haggard is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mildred Haggard.

Family hour will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the family's residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Bishop Randell Drake officiating.
