Brownie Sue Robertson Graham passed from this life in Durant, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the age of 73.

She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Sunday, December 8, 1940 to N.M. and Irma Robertson.

Brownie graduated from Durant High School in 1959. She enjoyed 20 years as a military wife, homemaker and mother of two children.

In 1976 Brownie graduated from Grayson County College in Denison, Texas with an Associate Degree in Nursing, her nursing career spanned 28 years and she retired from the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant, Oklahoma in 2004. During her tenure at MCSO she was an OR Nurse, OR Supervisor and House Supervisor. Brownie was awarded Nurse of the Year in 1990.

She became a Christian at the age of 12 and was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to sing, listen to music of all kinds, cooking, hosting family dinners and laughing with friends and family. Those who knew Brownie would describe her as outgoing and fun-loving. Brownie never met a stranger and smiled a lot. She also loved animals especially Basset Hounds and cats.

Mrs. Graham is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Lorance of Durant, Oklahoma; son, Brownie Lee Brimage and wife Ronel of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandsons, Brownie Ray Brimage and wife Natasha of Edmond, Oklahoma and Tyler Lee Lorance of Durant, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Brittany Ranae Dean and husband Christopher of Oklahoma city, Oklahoma and Miranda Dawn Lorance of Stillwater, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Brownie Jaxon Brimage, Dillon Zaine Brimage, and Lucille Ranae Dean; sister, Debbie Brady of Midlothian, Texas; brothers, Jack Schreiner and wife Jill of Nevada and John Schreiner and wife Sue of Oregon and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her parents, N. M. "Brownie" Robertson and Irma "Robbie" Robertson.

Family hour will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma.

A funeral service in honor of her memory will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel.

Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Don Mercer, Christopher Dean, Brownie Ray Brimage, Michael Mattox, Andy Wilshin and Dwayne Bebout. The Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Engles, Dr. Phyllis Engles, Dr. Cuesta, Charles Bachmann and the Durant High School Class of 1959.
