Lucille E. Gentry a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life at her home on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the age of 93. She was born in Durant, Oklahoma on June 28, 1921 to Walter L. and Helen (Eeds) Tomlin. Lucille Tomlin married G.P. Gentry in Caddo, Oklahoma on October 6, 1941.

Mrs. Gentry is survived by her husband G.P. Gentry of the home; sons, Mike Gentry and wife Lois of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Bill and wife Loretta Gentry of Sulphur, Oklahoma; grandson, Christopher Gentry of Sierra Vista, Arizona; granddaughters, Cynthia Carr and husband Jerod of Tucson, Arizona and Amanda Garnand and husband Jeremy of Norman, Oklahoma; step grandsons, Brandon Weber of Loveland, Colorado and Russell Weber and wife Monica of Sulphur, Louisiana; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gentry was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Walter Tomlin; and brother, Walter "Buddy" Tomlin.

Family Hour will be form 6-7:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A funeral service in honor of her life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the 1st Christian Church Disciples of Christ at 3rd and Beech in Durant with Rev. Wayne Ashlock officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
