Natalie B. Daniel passed away in Durant, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the age of 87 years 3 months and 28 days. She was born on Monday, April 21, 1924 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to George and Georgia (Trumbo) Watson. Natalie married Nathan “Slick” Daniel in Durant, Oklahoma on Friday, November 27, 1942. Natalie was a member of the Mead Baptist Church.

She worked in the Bryan County Sewing Factory for eleven years and ran a snow cone stand for 21 years at the Texoma Lake Lodge. Natalie loved her role as a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts whenever she found the time.

Mrs. Daniel is survived by her grandson, Nathan H. Daniel III and wife Rachel of Durant, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Emma Lou Daniel and Kya Hawk of Durant, Oklahoma and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Daniel is preceded in death by her parents, George and Georgia Watson; husband, Nathan "Slick" Daniel; son, Harold Daniel; brothers, Jim and Raymond Watson; sisters, Jean kay, Thelma Canard and Dorthea Watson.

Family Hour will be 3-4:00 PM Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2011, Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Rev. Kerry Groce officiating. Pallbearers will be Cody Daniel, Derek Daniel, A. G. Alexander and James Daniel. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Durant, Oklahoma.
