Billie Faye Cox of Durant, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years 6 months and 19 days. She was born on Friday, July 6, 1928 in Sawyer, Oklahoma to Ernest Conrad and Thelma Elizabeth (Usrey) Wilson. Billie married her sweetheart Eugene on Monday, September 25, 1947 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Billie dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She was a faithful member of the St. John's Episcopal Church in Durant, Oklahoma. Billie served as the site Nutritional Coordinator for SODA. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, fishing and camping, Â but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her sons, Phillip Cox and wife Claudia of Matthews, North Carolina and Marc Cox and wife Jeannine of Savannah, Texas; daughters, Laurie Cox of the home and Katy Stinson and husband Linnie of Mead, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Doyle Brown of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters, Mary Wright of Denison, Texas and Sally McCurry of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Annie and Sadie Cox, Emily Schnabel and husband Nick, Matthew Brown and wife Sarah, Ryan Brown and wife Julie, Micha Brown and wife Jessica, Kortney, Tyler and Kara Stinson, Shelby Cox, Destiny Fields-Higgins; great-grandchildren, Cal and Caroline Schnabel, Cadence Brown, Jonathan, Jordan and Brian and baby girl Brown due next week also survived by Donna Rains, Morganne and David Kemp, Sidni Rains, Carter and Kaylee Kemp and Kaysen Hobbie.

Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Thelma Wilson; husband, Eugene Cox; daughter, Glenda Brown; brothers, Lloyd Wilson and Jimmy Wilson; sister, Lois Akard.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 30, 2012 at the St. John's Episcopal Church in Durant, Oklahoma with Rev. James Blagg officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Phil Cox, Marc Cox, Ryan Brown, Micah Brown, Tyler Stinson and Linnie Stinson. Honorary pallbearer is Staff Sergeant Matt Brown.
