Linda Christian a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and family member passed from this life in Durant, Oklahoma on December 31, 2017 at the age of 73. She was born in Durant, Oklahoma to Jack and Lena (Beal) Robertson in Durant, Oklahoma on December 3, 1944. Linda married Johnny Christian in 1962 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Linda was a member of the Baptist faith. She dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. Linda loved being outside, camping at the lake or walking. She enjoyed sewing, listening to oldies, singing, and any time with her family.

Mrs. Christian is survived by her husband, Johnny Christian of the home; sons, Johnny Christian and wife Teresa of Durant, Oklahoma and Michael Christian and wife Veda of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Elizabeth Mclver and husband Roger of Blair, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Joshua Christian and wife Jennifer of Dickson, Oklahoma, Jonell Ellis and husband Drew of Ft. Hood, Texas, Kimo Puana and wife Elisha of Killeen, Texas, Jacob Christian of Durant, Oklahoma, and Michael Christian, Jr. of Atoka, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Jace Christian of Ft. Hood, Texas and Jetson Christian of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers, Don Robertson and wife Carolyn of Durant, Oklahoma and Ricky Buchanan of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Louise Buchanan of Durant, Oklahoma; and also survived by her step-father, Alvin Buchanan of Durant, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Christian was preceded in death by her father, Jack Robertson; mother, Lena Buchanan; brothers, Bill Robertson and Alvin Lynn (Brother) Buchanan; sister, Dorothy Barnes; a grandson, Jon Houston Christian.

Family hour will be from 9-10:00 AM on Wednesday January 3rd before the service at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Brother Jesse West and Don Hyde,Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
