Jerry Alan Bragg, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior in Denison, Texas on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the age of 63. He was born on August 7, 1951 in Santa Paula, California to Danny James and Hettie Louise (Knutson) Bragg. Jerry married Deborah Morgan in Durant, Oklahoma on May 21, 1977.

Jerry came to Oklahoma in July 1962 from Fillmore, California. He loved to work with his hands creating things from wood. Jerry was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.

Mr. Bragg is survived by his wife Deborah of the home; children, Grady Smith and Angela Fulce of Durant, Oklahoma, Heather Smith of Durant, Oklahoma, Robert Bragg of Bennington, Oklahoma, Tammy O'Dell and husband Randy of Duncan, Oklahoma, Andrea Miller and husband Tim of Tishomingo, Oklahoma and baby girl, Cagney Bragg of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Sandra Odum & Larry of Elk City, Oklahoma, sister, Debbie Carr & Mark Comanche, Oklahoma, sister, Lydel Anderson of Colbert, Oklahoma; brother, Dennis Bragg and wife Rosemary of Durant, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Freda Laycock of Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley O'Dell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Braeden O'Dell of Duncan, Oklahoma, Daelan Smith of Durant, Oklahoma, Sage Waddell of Durant, Oklahoma, Landon Smith of Durant, Oklahoma, Sienna Waddell of Durant, Oklahoma, Kamdyn Smith of Durant, Oklahoma, Ethan Bragg of Bennington, Oklahoma and Cooper Bragg of Bennington, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mr. Bragg was preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Hettie Bragg; brother, Barney Bragg; nephews, Mark Anderson, Robert Shannon Bragg and brother-in-law, Tommy Anderson.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 6-7:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A funeral service in honor of his memory will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Rev. Dan McLemore officiating. Interment will be at the Highland Cemetery in Durant. Serving as pallbearers will be Grady Smith, Tim Miller, Randy O'Dell, Braeden O'Dell, Randy Weger, and Danny Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Damron, Reuben Rivera, Quint Gobert and Jack Langham.
