Eva Lou Bowen was born Friday, June 2, 1933 in Denison, Texas to F.E. and Odie (Pritchard) Webb. Eva passed from this life Monday, August 10, 2009 in Brown,Oklahoma at the age of 76 years. Eva married Ordis Dow Bowen on December 30, 1950 on the Johnston /Bryan County Line in Oklahoma. Mrs. Bowen was a member of the Silo Baptist Church in Silo, Oklahoma.

Eva loved to sew making clothes for her family, She was a loving , kind and generous person who loved her family.

She is survived by; Husband: O.D. Bowen of Durant, Oklahoma,Daughters: Paula Duncan & Husband Jasper of Lewisville, Texas, Anita Byerly & husband Bill of Brown, Oklahoma. Carla Mullens & husband Kevin of Sherman,Texas, Grandchildren: Melissa Duncan of Lewisville, Texas, Jeremy Duncan & wife Carrie of Lewisville, Texas Aaron Mullens of Sherman, Texas Jessica Byerly of Brown, Oklahoma Candace Mullens of Sherman, Texas Great-Grandchildren: Aubrie Duncan of Lewisville, Texas Cooper Duncan of Lewisville, Texas Brother:Joe Webb & Mary of San Antonio, Texas Aunt:Woody Glenn of Bells, Texas,

Mrs. Bowen is preceded in death by her Parents, F. E.(Farmer) & Odie Webb and Brother, Frank Webb.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Silo Baptist Church in Silo, Oklahoma. Internment will be at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Officiating the service will be Bro. Buddy Johnson.Pallbearers Chris Stratton,Don Robinson,J.D. Harlin, Steve Harlin,Wendell Peoples,Bill Hicks.
