Marilyn Anderson passed way on Monday, September 5, 2011 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age 47 years, 1 month and 23 days old. She was born on Tuesday, July 3, 1964 to Jody and Deborah (Le Flore) Nunn in Talihina, Oklahoma. Marilyn married Gerald C. Anderson on April 27, 2002 in Durant, Oklahoma.

Marilyn was a member of the Baptist faith. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. Marilyn enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald C. Anderson of Roberta, Oklahoma; father, Jody Nunn of Stiegler, Oklahoma; sons, Donnie Scraper of Stillwell, Oklahoma, Clayton Scraper of Durant, Oklahoma, Terry Anderson of Roberta, Oklahoma and Monty Anderson and wife Terri of Roberta, Oklahoma; daughters, Barbara Summit of Durant, Oklahoma, Juanita Scraper and Joey Parish of Roberta, Oklahoma, Claudia Perkins and husband Andy of Calera, Oklahoma and Medeania Kilburn of McAlester, Oklahoma; brothers, Mark Nunn and Chris Nunn; sisters; Vicky Timmons, Joyce Nunn, Judy Nunn and Debbie Nunn; grandchildren, Elizabeth Scraper, Dakota Summit, Katelynn Summit, Devan Scraper, Jaden Parish and Madison Parish. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Nunn; sister, Wyona Nunn; brother, Joe Dale Nunn.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 9, 2011, at the Highland Cemetery, in Durant, Oklahoma with Rev. Bud Jenkins officiating. The family suggests that memorials in Marilyn’s name may be made to The Liver Research Fund at http://aasld.org Family and friends may send online condolences and view tributes at www.coffeymurray.com. Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, Durant, Oklahoma. .
