Dorothy June Anderson joined her Savior on Sunday December 31, 2017 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 89. She was born in Albany, Oklahoma on June 20, 1928 to Don and Artie (Lynn) Farrell. Dorothy married Loyd Anderson on February 20, 1944 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Dorothy was a member of the Utica Baptist Church. She was a dedicated servant of her Lord Jesus Christ, and enjoyed reading her Bible. Dorothy gladly spent her life caring for her family. She enjoyed sewing and was a member of the Home Demonstration Club for 50 years.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughters, Linda Frost and husband Jack of Weatherford, Texas, Pattie Davis and husband Charles of Utica, Oklahoma, and Sue Fravel and husband Bob of Utica, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Steven Davis of Utica, Oklahoma, Jeremy Davis of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Russell Frost of Bertram, Texas, Jennifer Wood-Ruff of Dayton, Tennessee, Leslie Favor of Livingston, Montana, and Shari Williams of Marshall, Missouri; and also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Artie Farrell; husband, Loyd Anderson; and brother, Wendall Farrell.
A chapel service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday January 3rd at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Lee Couch officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
