Stephen Lynn Whitten 62, of Vidor, Texas passed away Thursday May 23, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He was born October 15, 1956 in Sherman, Texas to Lemmie Albert and Thelma McKinney Whitten. He was raised in Colbert and went to Colbert High School. He moved to Vidor with his younger Brother. He was a member of Turning Point Church where he was a door greeter and an usher very much loved his Lord and Savior. He loved his life groups and attended in Vidor. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Niece and Nephew Jonathon Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Jackson. He also enjoyed fishing, watching T.V. and traveling. He will be missed by many. Surviving is his Brother Michael Whitten and Sister-in-Law Terri Whitten of Vidor, Texas and his Sister Darla Diane Ross of Lenard, Texas.

Graveside Service for Steven Lynn Whitten will be held at 2:00 p.m Thursday Afternoon May 30, 2019 in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert with Greg Halley officiating with burial to follow. Pallbearers will be Phillip Lemmones, Aaron Lemmones, Welton Wright, Craig Rice, Fred Jankson and Danny McKinney. The register book may be signed and condolences sent to the family online @ cunninghamfuneralhomesok.com Arrangements are entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
