Elizabeth "Ann" Krueger, age 86, of Colbert, OK went home to Jesus on 1/13/2026 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Ann was born in Ashland, OK on July 22, 1939, to Bill and Orella (Free) Harden. She graduated from McAlester High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Ann married Bob Krueger on September 9, 1960. She was a teacher and principal in Colbert for her entire career, making an impact on countless students, teachers and community members.
Ann was a member of First Baptist Church Colbert where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, cooked, cleaned and anything else that needed to be done. Most of all, she loved to serve others and show God's love to all. She especially enjoyed loving and spoiling her grandkids as often as possible. She loved to spend time at their cabin with family and friends, playing games, walking, discovering, painting, cooking and serving everyone.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Orella Harden, and grandson, Benjamin Krueger. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bob Krueger; son Greg Krueger and wife, Kim; daughter Kathy Fountain; brother Hugh Harden and wife, Mary; grandchildren Robbie Krueger and wife, Karla; Jarod Krueger and wife, Chelsea; Ryan Krueger, Jaidyn Fountain, Kaidyn Fountain; and great-grandchildren, Abi Krueger, Joshua Krueger and Brady Krueger.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 19, 2026, at First Baptist Church Colbert with pastor Steven Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert, OK following the services.
