Retha Mae Hannan 87, of Sherman, Texas passed away Saturday May 1, 2021 at The Woodlands Place in Denison, Texas. She was born June 16, 1933 in Kiowa, Oklahoma to Douglas and Bertie King Hannan.

She Married Talmage Hannan, Jr. on December 5, 1949 and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2012. Retha worked as a seamstress but her full time job was Wife and Mother. The union produced Four Children.

Survivors include Daughter Pamela Hannan of Sherman, TX. Sister Jessie Lee Pyles-Parker and husband James David of McKinney,TX. Four Grandchildren Christie Rice-Douglas and husband Lee of Denison, TX. Preston Hannan, Vyctoria Hannan, and Brandon Hannan. Three Great Grandchildren Alexis Barnes and husband Jeremy of Sherman, TX., Jachob Lee Douglas of Denison, TX. and Mason Hannan of Oklahoma. One Great Great Granddaughter Alysia Marie Barnes of Sherman, TX. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other family and friends also survive.

A Funeral Service for Retha Mae Hannan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning May 8, 2021 at Cunningham Funeral Home with Richard Gage Pastor of Coleman Avenue Church of Christ in Colbert officiating. Burial will follow next to her Husband and Sons in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert, OK. Pallbearers will be David Parker, Truman Hudson, Danny Duvalle, Christie Douglas and Shayla Bee.
