Billy Joe Malone

Billy Joe Malone, a lifelong resident of Wade, Oklahoma, and beloved Uncle and family member, left this life at his home in Wade on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at the age of 62. Billy was born in Bokchito, Oklahoma on March 22, 1956 to Henry and Ruby (Bell) Malone.

Billy was like a second dad to his many beloved nieces and nephews. He loved to work and never missed a day, hauling hay or installing flooring. Billy was of the Baptist faith. He cherished his family and looked forward to any time they spent together.

Mr. Malone is survived by his brother, Mike Malone of Utica, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Tena Malone, who was like a sister, of Wade, Oklahoma; nephew, Billy Malone and wife Krista of Albany, Oklahoma; nieces, Amy Anderson and husband Scott of Albany, Oklahoma and Amanda Malone of Durant, Oklahoma; siblings, brother, Ronnie Malone and wife Dena of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Don Malone and wife Jan of Bennington, Oklahoma, Jimmy Malone of Soper, Oklahoma, Mary Waller and husband John of Durant, Oklahoma, and Betty Brooks and husband Terry of Pittsburg, Oklahoma; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Bell Malone and Henry Malone; and brother, Robert Malone.

A church service will be at 10:00 AM Friday October 19th at the Utica Baptist Church in Utica with Bro. John Heath officiating. Burial will follow at the Bokchito Cemetery in Bokchito with Mike Berka, Tommy Elliot, Woody Heflin, Carl Marlow, Terry Gilbert, and Brad French as pallbearers.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma
