Teddy Joe Shell Kelsey

Teddy Joe Shell Kelsey, 46, of Bokchito, Oklahoma, passed from this life and went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1979, in Talihina, Oklahoma to Bill Thomas Joe Kelsey and Eddie Ann Kelsey.

Teddy attended Rock Creek High School and Murray State College. He worked as an EMT, a carpenter, and as a welder. Teddy attended Big Creek Chapel Church in Bokchito, Oklahoma and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed many things in life such as listening to music, learning about the history behind music and bands, gaming, exploring nature, and spending time with his precious mother and son.

Teddy is preceded in death by his father; Bill Thomas Joe Kelsey, and brother; Jason Kelsey.

Teddy is survived by his mother; Eddie Ann Kelsey of Bokchito, Oklahoma, son; Dylan Kelsey of Bokchito, Oklahoma, daughter; Kylie Kelsey of Durant, Oklahoma, and daughter; Madison Kelsey of Durant, Oklahoma.

A family night for Teddy is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.

A funeral service for Teddy will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with brother Ross Phillips officiating.

Burial will take place at Bokchito Cemetery following the service.

Services are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
