Rev. Larry Alan Creasman, age 73, of Marietta, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at his home. Larry Alan Creasman was born on April 7, 1952, in Blue, Oklahoma to parents William Verner and Ruby Mae (Cummings) Creasman where he attended school and graduated with the Class of 1970. After high school, Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1979. Larry dedicated much of his life to ensuring the safety and well-being of others. He worked as a Mining Safety Coordinator, MSHA Coordinator, and CPR/First Aid Trainer, and most recently operated a loader at Bartel in Sivells Bend, Texas.
Larry and his wife Joyce owned and operated Joyce's Kountry Kitchen in Marietta for many years. Larry enjoyed getting to visit with the customers and listening to Joyce's beautiful voice singing those old gospel songs and wrangling the grandkids. Outside of work, Larry found his greatest joy in spending time with his son and grandchildren. He loved fishing and hunting with them whenever possible, reading old western novels, and attending drag races. Known for his humor, Larry could always be counted on to share a joke or playful tease to make people laugh. Larry was also a devoted minister of the gospel in the Pentecostal/Apostolic faith, faithfully spreading the Word whenever he had the opportunity. His deep faith and compassionate spirit touched many lives.
Larry is survived by his son, Joshua Alan Creasman, and daughter-in-law, Amanda, of the home; grandchildren, Alexis Cheyenne Creasman, Joshua Cole Creasman, and William Eli Creasman; and his sister, Laverne "Mickey" Prazan of Kingston, Oklahoma. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce (Coulter) Creasman; parents William and Ruby Creasman and siblings Harvey Creasman, Ruby Bokies, Betty Creasman, Tommy Creasman, Billy Creasman, Loyce Thacker, and Paul Creasman.
