Billie "Bob" Bell

Graveside Services for Billie "Bob" Bell will be Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Bokchito Cemetery. George Cline will officiate. Billie was born Monday, July 21, 1924 in Bokchito, Oklahoma to William Rufus & Mary Jane (Meek) Bell. He passed from this life on Monday, March 1, 2010 in Denison, Texas at his residence.

Billie, also known as "Bob", attended Murray College. He was a member of the Bokchito Alumni Club and the Sherman 20 Club. He was a Radio Shack Joint Venture Owner. Bob enjoyed fishing, basketball, and computers. He was a member of the Grace Bible Church in Sherman, Texas. Bob also served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years before retiring February 28, 1965. He married Evelyn Marie (Reeves) Bell on July 21, 2004 in Sherman, Texas.

Billie was preceded in death by: his parents and first wife Ruth Bell.

Survivors include: wife, Evelyn Bell of Denison, Texas; daughter, Debra & Jene Folkert of Lawton, Oklahoma; son, Andrew Bell of Lewisville, Texas; son, Billie Bell, Jr. & Kathy Bell of Sherman, Texas; son, Norman Lee of DeSoto, Texas, son, Gregory Lee of DeSoto, Texas; daughter, Karen & Bill Gray of Sherman, Texas; as well as 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include: Billie Bell, Jr.; Andrew Bell, Bill Gray, Norman Lee, David Folkert, Jonathan Richardson.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma from 6-7PM.
