James R. Beames a resident of Albany, Oklahoma passed away in Durant, Oklahoma on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the age of 39 years 9 months and 16 days. He was born in Dallas, Texas on Monday, November 6, 1972 to James F. Beames and Glenda (Conditt) Robertson.
James was a manager at Beames Hill Stop in Bokchito, Oklahoma, a family owned business. He attended Albany Baptist Church. James was an avid OU Sooner football fan. He enjoyed taking rides in boats.
Mr. Beames is survived by his children, James T. Beames of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Mia E. Beames of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, Marissa A. Beames of Albany, Oklahoma and Dalton R. Beames of Albany, Oklahoma; father, James F. Beames and wife Sylvia of Mead, Oklahoma; mother, Glenda Robertson and husband Gene of Albany, Oklahoma; step-brothers, Bobby Joe Hudson of Idaho, Donny Hudson of Mead, Oklahoma and Harold Hill of Bokchito, Oklahoma; grandparents, Jean L. Beames of Bokchito, Oklahoma and Edith J. Bryan of Albany, Oklahoma; aunt, Cheryl Patton and husband Roger of Bokchito, Oklahoma and Linda C. Medina and husband Louis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Mr. Beames was preceded in death by his sister, Twyla Mae Beames; step-brother, Thomas W. Robertson; grandparents, James P. Beames and G.T. Conditt.
Family Hour will be 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Rev. Phillip Rowland and Rev. Jackie Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Bokchito Cemetery in Bokchito, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Hill, Michael Day, Jimmy Sullivan, Darrell Justice, James Eide and Michael Regimbal.
