Patsy LaNell Young, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, passed for this life on Friday July 20th, 2018 at the age of 72. She was born in Bennington, Oklahoma to Lester Herbert and Retha Inez (Dominick) Holloway on December 4th, 1945. Patsy was married to Johnny Young.

Patsy was raised in Texas. She graduated from Wichita Falls. She made her home in Durant, Oklahoma, Patsy had a compassionate heart and choose to work as a nurse’s aide and caregiver. She was an avid fan of George Jones and Michael Bolton. Patsy enjoyed playing dominoes, reading, playing card games and working puzzles. She loved volunteer work and serving others. Patsy was a loving wife, and she cherished her family.

Mrs. Young is survived by her sister, June Pardue of Bokchito, Oklahoma; brothers, Jim Holloway and wife Sophie of Edna, Texas and Danny Holloway and wife Cindy McIntire of Bennington, Oklahoma; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her parents; husband Johnny Young; and brothers, Bobby and L.H. Holloway.

Family hour will be from 6-8:00 PM on July 24th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday July 25th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Rev. Phillip Rowland and Rev. Anthony Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Bennington Cemetery with Mike Williams, Danny Holloway, Jim Holloway, Mike Andrews, Brian Folsom, and Buddy Jackson serving as pallbearers.
