Pamela Jean Hamill-Pittman was born on January 22, 1960, in Dallas, Texas to parents David F. Hamill and Tilda Mae Bunch. Pamela passed away on April 28, 2026, in Denison, Texas at the age of 66. Pamela graduated from South Garland High School and worked in the Finance industry. She moved to Bryan County in 2013, from Collin County, Texas and later married David L. Pittman on April 12, 2014.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents David F. Hamill and Tilda Mae Bunch; brothers Raymond Sydney Hamill, Shorty (David) Lee Hamill, and Keith Warren Hamill and stepson Lonnie Gann.
Pamela is survived by her husband David L. Pittman of the home; children Amber Richell Rainey and husband BD of Sweetwater, TX, Joseph Jewel Shirley of Sweetwater, TX, Amy Mae Harris and husband Scooter of Trent, TX, Alisha Marie Goss and husband Jody of Gainesville, TX, Jerod David Shirley and wife Ashlynn of Wichita Falls, TX, Steven Lee Pittman and wife Francis of Durant, OK, Amber Leighann Jordan and husband Josh of Blue, OK, and Sarah Lynn Faber and husband Lelan of Denton, TX; 29 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate Pamela's amazing life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday May 3, 2026, at Brown's Durant Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor David Strickland will officiate. Interment will follow in Bennington Cemetery with Kyler Covington, Tate Rainey, Kyler Rainey, Kaige Covington, Joshua Adames, Blake Shirley, Coby Adames, Steven Pittman and Christopher Rappaport serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
