Ron Brandy passed away on January 06, 2021 at his residence in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years old. He was born on August 16, 1967 in Dallas, Texas to Lewis Brandy Jr. and Wilma (Billy) Brandy. Ron married his wife, Rosalie (Parker) on December 18, 2017 in DeQueen, Arkansas.

Ron was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. He enjoyed singing country and gospel music and was also known as the "Lanyard Man". He was a talented jewelry and lanyard maker. He was also a jack of all trades and had many different jobs in his lifetime, including working construction, being a nurses aid and even attending culinary school.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Rosalie Brandy of the home. A daughter, Feather Brandy of Glenpool, Oklahoma, and two step-sons Damon Damron of Durant, Oklahoma and Nathan Parker of Durant, Oklahoma. His Mother, Wilma Brandy of Bennington, Oklahoma and two brothers Clint Brandy of Durant, Oklahoma and Stacey Brandy. He is also survived by two granddaughters Jillian Parker and Addison Parker along with his Aunt Annie Rowe of Bennington, Oklahoma and Uncle James "Sonny" Billy of Sherman, Texas, niece, MyKayle Brandy, Nephews, Kaleb (Bam) Brandy, and Isaac Brandy, and dachsund baby girl Bella.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Brandy Jr.

A family hour will be held at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral home in Durant, Oklahoma on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 10am. Interment will follow in the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma.
