Rajeanna Kay Waggoner was born May 5, 1951, at Prague, Oklahoma to Edward Earl and Delores Jean Johnson Ross and passed away April 23, 2026 at the age of 74.
Jeanne was a resident of the Watonga, Oklahoma community for 46 years where she was a nurse. She graduated from North Classen High School in Oklahoma City in 1969 and attended St. Anthony’s Nursing School. After high school she became a candy striper until she earned her LPN. She worked at Baptist Hospital in Okc where she met her husband, Stanley. She worked at Prague Hospital, Watonga Hospital, the Watonga Nursing home, home health and for Mary B. Schenk. She retired in 2004. Jeanne enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her beloved cats as well as music and shopping.
She married Stanley Alan Waggoner at Oklahoma City, OK on July 6, 1973.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Teresa Nance and husband, Stanley Waggoner.
She is survived by:
Two sons……………………..Sean Waggoner of Watonga, OK
……………………………………Ryan Waggoner of Watonga, OK
One daughter………………Shanna Brown of Watonga, OK
One sister…………………….Linda Brown of Prague, OK
Four grandchildren………Eden Waggoner (Emma), Kyle Brown (Payton), Elijah Waggoner, Ezri Waggoner.
One great grandchild…..Paul Alan Brown as well as numerous friends and relatives.
Viewing/Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 28 from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services for Jeanne will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at the Nazarene Church in Watonga, OK with Pastor Zach Brack officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga. Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.
