WATONGA - The funeral for Lavina Kathlene Maddux, 71, of Watonga, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at the Christian Church in Watonga. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery , Watonga. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Watonga.

She was born Dec. 11, 1938, in Severance, Colo., to Ed and Mollie Leis Hoffman and died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010.

She graduated from Canton High School. She worked for Watonga State Bank for almost 18 years, then worked for First State Bank in Watonga starting in the early 1980s. She was on the board of directors at First State Bank as well as an officer for the bank.

She married Wayne Roy Maddux June 19, 1965, in Watonga.

She was a member of the Christian Church in Watonga.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne, of the home; two sons, Jeff Maddux of Stillwater and Brad Maddux of Watonga; two brothers, Doyle Hoffman of Canton and William Hoffman of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Louella Tucker of Oklahoma City and Dorthy Campbell of Chester .

She was preceded in death by one daughter, three brothers and one sister.
