Beulah (Brewer) Hood

February 24, 1914 ~ November 2, 1982

Watonga - Funeral services for Beulah Hood, 68, who died Tuesday, November 2, 1982 in a Watonga hospital, will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Murrell officiating. She will be buried in the I00F Cemetery at Watonga.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.

Mrs. Hood was born February 24, 1914, at Meno, Arkansas, the daughter of William and Nancy Lucinda Brown Brewer. She had lived in the Watonga community most of her life and had attended the Etna rural school.

She and Ewin Hood were married at Watonga October 15, 1932, and had just celebrated their 50th anniversary.

In addition to her husband Ewin of the home she is survived by four sons, Bill Hood and Dwight Hood of Elk City, Bobby Hood of Bixby, Jerry Hood, El Reno; eight daughters, Leola Miller and Barbara Brown of Elk City, Lucille Kirkendall and Betty Kirkendall, both of Bixby, Judy Kershman, Watonga, Rhonda Henderson, Olympia, Washington, Denise Stutters, Booker, Texas, and Roberta Huiatt, Watonga; three brothers, Forrest Brewer, Watonga, Columbus Brewer, Geary and Horace Brewer, California; three sisters, Irene Rycroft, Greenfield, Marie Clark, Grants Pass, Oregon, and Willie Patton, Boulder, Nevada; 24 grandchildren and 19 great - grandchildren.
