Dale Lee Green
November 17th, 1937 ~ October 4th, 2022

Dale Lee Green was born November 17th, 1937, on the farm in Hennessey, OK, to Orpha and Florence (Lebow) Green and passed away on October 4th, 2022, at the age of 84.

Dale Green graduated from Hennessey High School in May of 1956 and married his high school sweetheart, Dolores Vaverka, a few days later on May 24, 1956. They made their first home in Enid so Dale could begin his career in the meat market at Safeway.

Dale and Delores moved their family to Watonga in 1961 where Dale became the meat market manager at Safeway. Later in 1974 Dale purchased B&W Processing Plant and renamed it D&D Processing Plant. Dale was a resident of Watonga, OK, for 61 years where he retired from a rewarding career as a butcher. Dale was a member of the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, the Lions Club, and the ELKS Lodge.

Dale is preceded in death by his son, Dana Lee Green, his parents, four brothers and one sister.

Dale is survived by his wife, Dolores Green of Watonga; one son, Darren and wife Denice Green of Watonga; two daughters, Delana and husband Mike of Canton and Denise and husband David Adkisson of Watonga; eight grandchildren, Heather and husband Chris Ross of Watonga, Chase and wife Verina Canada of Prague, Travis and wife Kathryn Canada of El Reno, Seasha and husband Mike Schroeder of Okeene, Shasta and husband Robert Folsom of Edmond, Dakota Green and Traci of Watonga, Dusti and husband Dustin Brodrick of Kingfisher, and Desiri Adkisson of Watonga; thirteen great-grandchildren whom he was very proud of, Daveon Dunn, Deondre Dunn, Kiesyn Canada, Kord Canada, Logan Tyler, Briggs Canada, Rush Canada, Hudson Schroeder, Kaydince Folson, Hinsley Brodrick, Whitley Brodrick, Lyrik Austin and Blayze Austin; one brother, Jim and wife Jodie Green, of Arkansas; two sisters, Elizabeth Lee of New Mexico and Mary and husband Dwight Winburn of Newkirk, OK; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dale Green will be held on Friday, October 7th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Watonga, with Father Benjamin S. Lwin officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK, following the services, with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
