Carole Ann (Moore) Dunn
October 29, 1940

Carole Ann (Moore) Dunn was born October 29, 1940, at Clinton, Oklahoma, to Roland Moore and Cyrilla Reber, and passed away March 5, 2023, at the age of 82.

Carole was a resident of the Watonga Community for most of her life, where she was an LPN at the Watonga Mercy Hospital. She attended and graduated from Watonga High School, and was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Friends of the Ferguson, as well as the Watonga Library Book Club. She was married to Ronnie Dunn at Watonga, Oklahoma, on December 20, 1957.

Carole loved being outdoors; she was often working in her flower beds or in the garden. She also enjoyed the company of her dog, “Buddy,” and her two cats, “Smoke” and “Spook.” She loved to read books and enjoyed several game shows, and of course, watched OU and the OKC Thunder games. Something that she always looked forward to and enjoyed immensely, was going on Christmas trips to see the lights and decorations with her kids.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie, her parents, one daughter, Cathy Ray, and one brother, Father Donald Moore.

She is survived by………………

one son………………………………..……… Donnie and wife Louise (Deane) Dunn, of Watonga, OK

One daughter…………………….……….. Ronda Bizzell of Weatherford, OK

one sister…………………..………………… Diana Loudenslager and husband Larry, of Celina, TX

Six grandchildren……………………..….. Kolby Bizzell (Keller, TX), Kirby Hood and husband Kyle (Weatherford, OK), Chris Dunn and wife Brittany (Edmond, OK), Brittany Dunn (Arlington, TX), Ty Ray and wife Toni (Weatherford, OK), and Taylor Bailey and husband T.J. (Greenfield, OK).

Eleven great-grandchildren………….. Kash Bizzell, Konner Hood, Kase Hood, Olivia Dunn, Anniston Dunn, Millie Dunn, Tyton Ray, Tyger Ray, Tyrone Ray, Tinleigh Bailey, and Takota Bailey.

Memorial services for Carole will be held, Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Watonga, OK, with Father Benjamin S. Lwin officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Watonga Hospital Auxiliary or Friends of the Watonga Library
