Jaquita Coleen (Scott) Bernhardt was born January 11th, 1939, to Elbert and Irene (Golden) Scott in Greenfield, Oklahoma, and passed away Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at the age of 87.
Jaquita graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. She married Larry Bernhardt on March 22nd, 1959, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Jaquita enjoyed being with her family and she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved golf, thoroughly enjoying her time with her golfing girls. She also belonged to a bowling league and bowled for many years.
Survivors include her son, Alan Bernhardt, and wife, Jonna of Watonga, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Chelsea Kennedy and husband, Heath of Watonga, Oklahoma; Tyler Bernhardt and wife, Bailey of Watonga, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Trace Kennedy, Hadyn Kennedy, Blair Kennedy, Harrison Bernhardt, and Sutton Bernhardt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Irene Scott; her husband, Larry Bernhardt; her daughter, Cindy Noegel; her brother, Hubert Scott; and her great-grandchild, Noah Kennedy.
Funeral services for Jaquita will be held on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, at 10 A.M. at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Watonga, with Pastor Orval Peters officiating. The burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, with Wilkinson Mortuary handling the arrangements.
