MOORELAND - Funeral service for Direk Smith, 51, of Mooreland, Okla., formerly of Enid, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with graveside service at 3 p.m. in Sunset Cemetery, Geary, Okla.

Direk was born Nov. 10, 1959, in Wichita to Ronald Eugene Smith Sr. and Oralee Patricia Smith and died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, in Woodward.

He moved to Oklahoma City with his family and attended Classen High School. He lived in Nashville before returning to Oklahoma.

Direk is survived by his sons, Tarell Smith and Jarell Robertson of Oklahoma City; brothers, Ronald Smith Jr. and Vincent Smith of Oklahoma City; and sisters, Stephanie Smith of Oklahoma City and Ronnita Smith of Wichita.

Preceded in death by his parents.
