Malisha Kaye Medicine Bear

Malisha Kaye Medicine Bear was born to Annette Medicine Bear and Lionel Bridges on January 14, 1983 in Clinton, Oklahoma. She departed this life on February 7, 2020 in Clinton, Oklahoma.

Malisha dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was the oldest of three children. She spent her youth attending Watonga Schools.

Malisha was the mother of Trey Medicine Bear and Mary Ann Barton.

As a young girl, she was always seen playing with her cousins on Main Street and riding bikes anywhere between Grandma Mary’s, Granny’s and Molly’s homes. She enjoyed spending the holidays with family and friends, spending time outdoors, and taking care of her dogs. She was always willing to help others and extend her hand when needed.

Malisha was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mary Ann Bridges of Watonga, paternal grandfather Sanford Barton of Watonga, and maternal grandfather Leslie Medicine Bear of Watonga; and aunt Tiffany Barton of Watonga.

She was a very caring and loving person and her beautiful spirit will live on in those she left behind, two children, Trey Medicine Bear of El Reno, and Mary Ann Barton of Watonga; her mother, Annette Medicine Bear of El Reno; father, Lionel Bridges of OKC; two brothers Marshall Medicine Bear of El Reno nd Matthew Medicine Bear of Watonga; grandmother Cynthia Medicine Bear of Watonga; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Wake services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church in Watonga, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Watonga Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Dwain Richey, Reverend Gerald Panana, Pastor Elijah Carpenter and Minister King officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery east of Watonga under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.
