William Kent Cavett

William Kent Cavett
January 05, 1950 ~ November 08, 2019

William Kent Cavett was born January 5, 1950 at Watonga, Oklahoma to Marion and Ramona (Overstreet) Cavett. He departed this life on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 69.

Kent graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1968. He later earned his masters degree from the First Catholic University in Central Luzon, Phillipines at Angeles City Foundation.

Kent served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was awarded the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation, The Air Force Longevity Service Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He was a construction Equipment Technician. William Cavett served from October 1968 to March 1976 and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and received his Honorable Discharge.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents; Survivors include five children, son Charlie Cavett and wife Gail, daughter Donita Villarama, son William Paul Cavett and wife Martha, daughter Suzanne Jantz and husband Shane, and son Joshua Lee Cavett; two brothers, Danny Cavett and wife Jeanie and Larry Cavett and wife Sue; six grandchildren, Emmanuel Paul Kliewer, Asia Kliewer, Mariah Rosalynna Cavett, Kent Ramon Cavett, Joshua Paul Villarama and Liam Talens Cavett; and numerous other extended family members.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Eagle City Cemetery, Eagle City, Oklahoma with Minister Jerry Bradford officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
