Alda Alberta Osage

Jun 26, 1932 ~ Dec 27, 2008

An all night wake service for "VeKocee" Alda Alberta Osage, 76, of Longdale, will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at Assembly of God Mission Church, Longdale. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Longdale School gym. The Rev. Jim Scott will officiate. Burial will be in Chiefs Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home, Fairview.

She was born June 26, 1932, in Longdale to "Honeovocomaiz" Don and "Ozemee" Kate Hamilton Osage and died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at her home.

She was raised and attended school in Longdale. She worked as a housekeeper and nurse aide in Okeene. She later attended nursing school at Redlands Community College, El Reno.

She married Joe Hoof in 1982. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of Assembly of God Mission, Longdale 36 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly of Longdale and Katelyn of Shawnee; two sisters, Agnes Old Bear of Longdale and Sedonia Blackowl of El Reno; two grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Joe, she was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, three brothers and two sisters.
