Tommie Rose Cravatt

The funeral for Tommie Rose Cravatt, 67, of Canton, will be 1 p.m. today at Canton Elementary School Gym, Canton. Burial will be in Chiefs Cemetery, Canton. Arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home, Fairview.

She was born Sept. 2, 1941, in Concho to Joseph Jess and Rose Tall Bear Birds Head and died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, near Springfield, Colo.

She attended Haskell High School, Lawrence, Kan., then attended accounting school, receiving many honors. She worked as a computer technician and accounting clerk for the United States Treasury. She married Clifford Lloyd Cravatt.

Surviving are her children, Matilda, Robert Jr., Henry, Thomas, Sandra, Ervin, Kay Ann and Charles; six brothers, Clifford, Joe, Lawrence, Laverne, Sterling and Earl; two sisters, Frances and Myrlie; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, one daughter, two granddaughters and three brothers.
