William Stanley “Willie” Starr
July 9, 1992 ~ August 23, 2022

On August 23, 2022 at the age of 30, William “Willie” Stanley Starr passed away in Oklahoma City. William was born to Teema Weeks and Michael Starr, Sr. on July 9, 1992 in Oklahoma City.

William is the 2nd oldest of 5 siblings. He graduated from Talking Leaves Jobs Corps in 2010. William took extreme pride in family and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his nephew Logan and nieces Izabellah and Alethea.

While his family and friends are shocked by his sudden death, they are thankful for his life. William was a quiet soul who relished the simple pleasures of life. He was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. In his spare time William enjoyed listening to music and watching TV and movies.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teema Weeks; grandmother, Ellen Owens; grandfather, Bernard “Beanie” Weeks; Grandmother, Marilyn Williams Sittingeagle; and grandfather, Herbie Bernard Starr. William is survived by his father Michael Starr, Sr.; his brother Michael Starr, Jr. of El Reno, OK; brother Joey Jolly; brother Anthony Tillack; sister, Jade Jolly all of Choctaw, OK; and aunts, Denise Lonelodge, Sarah Weeks and Tela Montoya all of Oklahoma City, OK.

William was a loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, and friend. He will be missed greatly by his closest cousins.

An all-night wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Concho E.R.C. in Concho, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2022 at the same venue with Pastor Delfred Whitecrow, Jr., Pastor Waylan Upchego and Pastor Sophia Big Goose officiating. Interment will follow at Canton Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, Oklahoma. Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
