Linda Gail (Scott) Pollock

Linda Gail (Scott) Pollock
April 16, 1954 ~ January 31, 2026

Linda Gail Pollock was born on April 16, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas to Martha Rebecca (Slaton) Scott and Bobby Joe Scott. God took Linda home on January 31, 2026 at the age of 71.

Linda and her family moved to Woodward in 1968 when her father took a job for Busters Furniture Company. She attended school at Woodward until the 8th grade and then moved to Canton, Oklahoma to live with her Aunt Ruth where she graduated high school in 1972. She then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University for two years majoring in education.

On May 25, 1972 Linda was united in marriage to Wayne Allen Pollock in Canton, Oklahoma where they made their home. Linda worked at the Canton Community State Bank for 26 years before retiring and going back to work with Wayne on the family farm.

Linda loved her family and was beyond supportive of her girls. She never missed a stock show, basketball game, or a rodeo; even if it meant travelling all over the world. Linda took pride in being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent seamstress and made several rodeo shirts for both her daughters and granddaughters and Halloween costumes as well.

Linda is survived by her husband Wayne Pollock of the home; two daughters, Khristie Perkins and husband CB and Stacie Parks; three grandchildren, Jaycee, Josie and Ally; brother Billy Scott of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; sister Rebecca Black of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Mike Scott and sister Bobbie Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Canton Christian Church with Keith Robinett and Joe Hart officiating. Interment will follow at Canton Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Memorials are suggested to the Canton Christian Church with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
