Funeral services for Carl Knudsen Sanve, retired merchant, were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Wayland cemetery, south of Grimes.

Miss Ruth Cochran, assistant pastor of the local church of God officiated.

Mr. Sanve died of influenza Sunday January 31, 1937 at his home at 1323 West Second Street. He had been ill for the past several days.

He was born December 20, 1875 in Chicago, Illinois.

He was the son of Andrew Knudsen Sanve, a native of Egersund, Norway.

Mr. Sanve was married April 14, 1900 to Elizabeth Iverson in Chicago. The couple and their children came here in October, 1928.

He was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Sanve; two daughters Mrs. Edith C. Cox of Grimes; and Mrs. Lillian I. Casady of Gotebo; three sons, Arnold L. Sanve and Herbert M. Sanve, both of Elk City; and Edwin L. Sanve of Carter; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
