Troy Jones was born July 4, 1943 in Booneville, Arkansas to Mildred Lucille and George Otis Jones. He passed away October 24, 2014 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 20 days.

Troy moved with his family to Elk City when he was in his early teens and has lived here ever since. He was a special person and loved his family and enjoyed going to church. Troy especially loved his brother Ray and watching John Wayne and old westerns.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, one brother, two nephews, two nieces and one great niece.

He is survived by his 4 sisters, Inis Simpson, JoAnn Dixon, Kathie Rios, all of Elk City, OK and Fay Welch and husband, Gene, West Plains, MO; 2 brothers, Ray Jones, Elk City, OK and Floyd Jones, Guthrie, OK and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
