Glenda Lou Bass Beck was born June 10, 1942 in Wheeler, Texas to Florence Belle "Sally" and Walter Jackson Bass, Jr. She passed away November 7, 2015 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 27 days.

Glenda grew up in Texola and attended the schools there until it closed. She then attended Erick schools graduating in 1960. After graduation she was married and they moved to Canadian, Texas where they worked for a few ranches around that area before she moved back to Shamrock, Texas where she began her career in banking. She continued her career by working for the First American Bank of Erick, Oklahoma and First National Bank in Shamrock, Texas where she retired in 2011. After he retirement she devoted all of her time to taking care of her great grandson and spending time with her family. Glenda enjoyed yard work, spending time outside, traveling with family and afternoon picnics with her great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant daughter, Melinda Kay Beck and 1 brother, Ronald Bass.

She is survived by her son, Marty Beck and wife, Missy, Elk City, OK; 1 grandchild, Landi White and husband, Rance, Miami, TX; 2 great grandchildren, Chance White and Keighly White; 2 brothers, P.R. Bass and wife, Jackie, Shamrock, TX and Buck Bass and wife, Casey, Erick, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
