Funeral services for Bert W. Archer were held at the Mehthodist church in Cheyenne after which burial was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma on Sunday.

Mr. Archer, a former resident of Strong City and Cheyenne was born December 24, 1887 and died in Tucson, Arizona Thursday, September 4, 1952.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Archer of the home address; two daughters, Mrs. Rowena Chambers of Sayre and Mrs. Ladine Smith of Erick; four sons, Mansofrd Archer of Tucson, Arizona, Myrle Archer of Barstow, Calif., Marion archer of Strong City, Oklahoma and T.J. Archer of Alququerque, N.M.; one sister and two brothers.
