Kim Clagett was born August 14, 1949 in Austin, Texas to Francis Maud and Howard Beal Clagett. He passed away October 9, 2015 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 25 days.

Kim grew up and attended school in Austin, Texas. After graduation, he furthered his education at the University of Texas there in Austin. Kim owned and operated a BBQ restaurant. In 1982, Kim moved to Elk City where he began his career in the oil field working for Otis Engineering. Shortly after he moved to Elk City he met and was eventually married to Vickie Lynn (Aldridge) Clagett at Elk City, Oklahoma on February 14, 1985. They remained in Elk City and Kim continued with Otis ending up as a supervisor on offshore drilling rigs. After Kim took early retirement, he purchased Aldridge Propane from his father-in-law and continued the operation until ill health forced his second retirement in 2008. Kim enjoyed hunting and playing golf, but his passion in life was the Lord and his church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Jan Clagett.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie, of the home; 2 children, Christopher Dawson Clagett, Elgin, TX and Victor Wesley Clagett, Elk City, OK; 2 step sons, Aaron Waits, Waco, TX and Gered Davis and wife, Candra, Elk City, OK; 2 grandchildren, Kelsey and Dillon Davis, both of Elk City, OK; 2 brothers, Jack Clagett and wife, Susan, Austin, TX and Billie Clagett and wife, Pam, Austin, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
