Lucille Tennery was born September 6, 1919 in Delhi, Oklahoma to Ola Susie and Robert Walter Sanders. She passed away July 23, 2014 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years, 10 months, and 17 days.

Lucille grew up in Delhi and was married to Tom John Tennery at Mangum, Oklahoma on August 15, 1940. They lived in Delhi, Mangum and Hext where Tom farmed. She moved to Elk City, Oklahoma in 1992 to make her home.

She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 granddaughter, Stacey Tennery.

She is survived by her daughter, Wileta Marie Wurdeman and husband, Woody, NC; son, Johnny Wayne Tennery, El Reno, OK; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 1 brother, Jimmy Sanders, Falcon Head, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends.
