Karol Kay Smith Robertson

Karol Kay Smith Robertson was born May 9, 1949 in Sayre, Oklahoma and passed away May 8, 1994 in the Sayre Memorial Hospital at the age of 44 years, 11 months and 29 days.

She graduated from Sayre High School in 1967 and married Keith Robertson on November 2, 1968 in Sayre, Oklahoma. They lived in Goodwill, Sayre, Stillwater and Sweetwater before returning to Sayre in 1978 to make their home.

Karol was teaching at the Apple Dumpling Pre-School.

She was a member of Sayre First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son Kash and her grandparents.

She is survived by her husband Keith of the home; three daughters, Kerry Robertson of Sayre, Oklahoma; Kody Moser and husband, Dusty of Elgin, Oklahoma; Kelly Robertson, Sayre, Oklahoma; one sister and brother in law, Nan and Ivan Hill, Elk City, Oklahoma; one brother and sister in law, Rod and Lynn Smith, Erick, Oklahoma; father and mother-in-law, Virgil and Alene Robertson, Sayre, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Jerry Ann Bibb and husband Kenny, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Nicky and Andy Reed and family, Sayre, Oklahoma; three nieces, Erin, Samantha and Robin; five nephews, Drew, B. J., Mark, Quentin and Thad; and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Services were at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 1994 at the Sayre Grade School Auditorium officiated by Tom Cooksey, and assisted by Joe Perry.

Interment was in the Lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
